Bandai Star Wars 1:350 Millennium Falcon Vehicle Collection plastic model build photoset November 3rd, 2021
This is the “mecha collection” sized Millennium Falcon plamo kit. The man body was painted Mr. Color 338 Gray. I did not use any of the stickers, but rather I hand-painted the random red, yellow, and gray panels. The streaks on the back deck was accomplished with Tamiya X-19 Smoke, and I admit I went a bit too heavy on those streaks. Instead of a usual enamel wash, this time I tried using an acrylic wash out of curiosity, using Turner Acryl Gouache Neutral Gray 5. The results are so-so. I also used Citadel’s Nuln Oil on the back vents. Oh, and the engines glow under a blacklight, since I used Gaia Notes’ Arpeggio of Blue Steel AR-01 Luminous Blue, which is a fluorescent, glow-in-the-dark lacquer paint.
