Well, he arrived and gone within 6 to 7 minutes of the episode.
The Bastard actually mouthed "Good Luck" to Gihun as he makes a smooth exit away via train.
Meaning he is completely aware of all the people he recruits, he is sending them to their direct deaths. To die in horrible ways all with that slasher smile on his face. I think we found a smile that rivals the Joker in sheer eek, creepy, and batshit insane factors.
Otherwise, why say good luck? Especially for what he advertised as playing more games for a higher cash prize.
