Structure
1. Parking garages, no matter what time of year, always offer a sense of damp, heavy longing. 2. Winding my way down the stairs, I count with each step-- seven, eight, nine-- the words I wanted so badly to whisper weaving between my knees. 3. At night, I dangle my feet off the edge of the roof and wonder what flying feels like. 4. After the sun has set and everything becomes a shadow I remember how our first goodbye echoed against the concrete, how I watched your taillights disappear-- 5. --how I somehow held my breath until I was alone.
Sexuality has absolutely NOTHING to do with romantic interest.
This is Tumblr, so I imagine this rant is rather redundant here.
The other day, I was on Facebook. A guy I'd gone on one date with and have known for years posted posted a meme style picture about demisexuality and what it means. Okay, great. However, the comment below asked what the opposite of demi is. His response? Poly fucking amory. Um… WHAT.
No. Just no. How could you even come to that conclusion? The words themselves tell you that your logic is fucked.
Demi - half or partial. Sexuality - what you’re physically attracted to. Poly - many, more than one Amorous - love, emotional attraction.
They literally have nothing to do with each other. Educate yourself.
You inspire me. I love you Alicia❤️😊 @lostupintheclouds
