RW&R Drabble Prompt: 01.15.24
Happy Monday, everyone! It's time for our weekly set of one-word drabble prompts. Remember — your drabbles should be exactly 100 words, you can write as many as you'd like throughout the week, and you can draw inspiration from the prompts however you see fit. If you need a refresher, here are our rules.
This week's words are:
Dance
Sandwich
Clean
Oh, and don't forget to tag us in your posts so we can reblog them.
Happy writing!

I wish I had been on tumblr when my long covid symptoms were the worst. I didn't feel right calling myself disabled or a spoonie because I felt people had shit so much worse than I did. It's taken a long time to get better in my health and it's still a struggle. But it took so long for me to stop comparing myself and accept that I'm a spoonie. I kept comparing myself to others and felt I was "complaining too much" sometimes, but really I was in a bad place for a long time and I am still working hard to get better as much as I can get better. I basically gaslit myself for years. I have gotten better and I resolve to keep working hard to get better and improve my health and my immune system. I believe things will get better. And I deserve to feel better. It's so validating to read other spoonie stories and posts. I'm so grateful to those ppl who share their struggles.
