DAY II; Suit.                                                                             [RE2] Leon S. Kennedy x Reader

"What's with the 'fit?" The familiar feminine voice of your roommate asked you from your doorway.

"I'm going out today to Raccoon City." You explain, turning to her as you fix your black dress vest. "There's an opportunity as an officer there and I want to check it out before making any rash decisions."

"Yeah? Awesome!" Your roommate pushed herself from the doorway and shimmied with excitement, matching the smile on her face while she approached. "I can finally get this apartment all to myself!"

You sputter out a chuckle. "Yeah, that's if I'm interested and if I get accepted." You explained, purposely pooping her early celebration.

She frowned and slumped her shoulders. "Aw! I guess I can deal with you a little longer." She said teasingly.

"Haha." You say sarcastically while trying to adjust the collar on your shirt. "How do I look? Not too professional? Not professional enough-?"

"Too professional." She responded immediately, grabbing the buttoned up collar and undoing the top 2 buttons. "There.. We.. Go!" She flared out the collar, causing you to rock slightly.

You looked slightly confused but turned towards the mirror to admire her work. "Wow. That.. That is more effective than it should be." You nodded in agreement and grabbed the collar, moving them up slightly.

"For sure." She nodded as well. "You don't want me to come with? I could use a vacation."

"No. I need someone to watch the cats." You pointed out, turning your head back over to her. "And if I walk into the station with you, they might think I'm turning you in for something." You laughed, causing your roommate to join in.

"Fuck you!" She said, not so serious while walking out of your room. "For sure will be better once you move out!"

"I agree." You say through snorts and chuckles.

You'd arrived in Raccoon City just to find that it was in shambles. Especially so when a semi truck came barreling down the road into a pile of cars. You had to abandon your vehicle and head to the police station. On your way over, you found someone in trouble. You pumped your shotgun and blew off the zombies head, allowing the man being attacked to push its body aside.

"Oh shit!" The man was surprised, and spat out the blood that covered his face. "Thanks."

"No problem." You said through deep breaths. "Headed to the station?"

"Yeah. You?" The man approached you with his own, smaller, gun pointed down.

You nod and begin walking. The man follows and you both clear the way to the station. Once you close the gates, you take a deep breath and relax a little.

"The name's [Y/N] [L/N]. Who're you?" You introduced yourself and nodded towards the stranger.

"Leon S. Kennedy." He nodded back. "You know what's going on here?"

"Looks like an apocalypse." You say. "No clue, though. Came in today to see about becoming a rookie here."

"Shit. You too?" Leon had come for the same reason. "I don't think either of us will be getting a job here."

"What makes you say that?" You ask sarcastically.

"Well, maybe in your suit, you might." Leon hadn't been expecting a survivor in a suit.

"Yeah.. Yeah, maybe." You nod, continuing with the joke. "Definitely going to have to change. Good thing I packed my zombie killing clothes."

"Is it a different colored suit?" Leon asked tauntingly.

"Yeah. Red." You joke. "Let's get into the station. Lot safer in there than out here."

"Obligated to agree." Leon nodded and followed you into the station.

And that would just be the beginning of many other adventures. At least in the other ones, you know not to wear a suit.
