This year I've had the opportunity to meet new people and feel new things. For the past couple years, I didn't notice but my feelings were eating energy away from me. As a result, I became bitter towards certain emotions. Without the bitterness, I wouldn't have learned how to care for myself and the people who care for me. I thought at one point that only one person truly got me inside and out. Turns out, several people can get me inside and out. My vision was just narrow, and my heart was small. So yes, kudos to the me who recognizes the importance of self care and love beyond just that. My love that died with one, resurrected amongst multiples. Again and again.
