Dorohedoro episode 9 was great! I fuckin love the bit where Shin and Noi wonder where their attackers went, while we see Ebisu and Garu-Garu just eating a massive pie that none of the characters know the origin of but we’re well aware of where it came from. This show can use dramatic irony to absolutely delight the viewer with as much grace as it can have some old fuck say “kill that bug-bastard with this pesticide!” and they each have as much comedic charm, it’s so fucking funny. And like lowkey Caiman’s a lot more fun without Nikaido as this fish out of water type character, but then they’re also balancing that with the fact that the wizards he’s chilling with are actually pretty cool dudes and that whole squad like each other, and with that happening plus Nikaido’s group accepting her as a wizard I expect that just on the smaller scale we’ll see wizards and people from Hole getting along better, which is neat too. Fun time.
