Good second episode following what feels like a fairly traditional approach even nowadays. You open with your bombastic first episode and use the second episode to re-establish the details but in a slower and more digestible way that makes it a little more apparent how the show is going to actually operate.
Watched this in call with @yurisorcerer and she can attest to my seiyuu identification skills as I noticed immediately that Chu-Chu is voiced by the same lady that voices Togepi in the Pokémon anime, in addition to several others but that's the one I recognised lol. Wasn't sure on Chu-Chu at first because haha cute mascot character whatever but he seems chill, I can vibe.
Utena having light transformation elements on her walk up the stairs is hype. I've been told that calling Utena a magical girl anime directly is somewhat controversial but regardless of whether or not it is one I am always going to be excited seeing a cool girl get a slightly more decorated outfit.
Shouts to the girl in the next episode preview wearing the god damn Wario dress, what a colour scheme. Dripped out the wazoo.
