As he listens to Jinki, he can't help letting his gaze wonder over towards the portfolio the other had been carrying before. He nods slightly and clears off his board, ' That's really cool. I've heard watercolor is hard to deal with but that was in high school. Do you do book illustrations or is it illustrations for company things? I think my talent lies in writing and not drawing though.' He takes a sip of his tea as he turns the board to face the other.

He smiles lightly as notices the other looking at his portfolio case again, realising that he had probably been wondering what was inside it all this time. He reads over the board as it’s presented to him and nods, laughing softly. “Ah yeah, it is. I still find it difficult to use and I’ve been doing it for a few years now. Mm, mainly illustrations for different companies and things like that, but I would love to illustrate a book someday. I’m just taking any jobs that I can find at the moment.” He nods softly again as he sips at his drink. “It’s a great talent to be able to write. I doubt I could write anything very well.”

The area around his is.. typical for what it was known for. The clubs all the same with only sign to really distinguish them from one another and yet it was practically lifeless, it was early in the afternoon. Yixing stops walking every now and then, wondering what stories each building had to tell, were some of them haunted? Still, each club he stops at offers a new setting for a character, a place that maybe isn't a club or it is. He stops once more in front of a club with a new looking sign.

It is cold, but a promise was a promise. Minseok sat in front of the club and waited for any troublemakers even though...what was he supposed to do? Kill them? Give them a harsh talking-to? Come to think of it, Minseok starts to believe that Jongdae does not know exactly what he wants from him. When someone approaches, he finally looks up, but smiles rather than grimaces. "Hello, are you the one who keeps causing trouble here?" He asks quietly, hands stuffed in his pockets as he stays seated. "The owner has been having issues with someone who shows up in the middle of the day, is that you?"

A shake of the head comes before Yixing cleans his board, wondering momentarily if he should show his 'art' to the other. 'I'm actually not that great, I've mastered stick figures and I think that's as far as I go.' He shrugs slightly as he shows the other the board, waiting a bit before adding in, 'What kind of art do you do? How long have you been doing it?' He's aware that it's not his turn to ask questions, but he can't help his curiosity.

"At least thats something! Everyone needs a starting point." Chuckling softly, he shifts in his chair before lifting his cup to his lips and takes another quick sip of his tea, waiting for the other to write out his next response. Reading the next question makes Jinki sit up a little more. "I do illustration. Mainly watercolour painting and pen sketches are my favourites. I’ve been doing it full time for about.. 3 or 4 years now? I’ve always loved art though."

He shakes his head, hoping the other interprets it as him not being bothered by the question. In fact, he had anticipated it being one of the first few asked or on some occasions saved for last. 'I chose not to speak. The board is just more convenient than trying to find people that know how to read lips and such. Plus, I get to practice my drawing skills.' He smiles as he flips the board over towards Jinki, holding it in one hand while the other brings his cup of tea to up for another sip.

He places his cup back onto the table as he rests his chin in the palm of his hand, smiling as he reads the board quickly, thinking over what he had read for a moment. He found the others attitude admirable, how easy going he seemed. “Wow, thats really interesting. I imagine it would be easier to use the board than to try lip reading. Do you do a lot of art? I’m actually an artist.. or trying to be.” Nodding softly as he speaks, he studies the others face as he waits for his reply.

Yixing draws on his board as he waits for Jinki to come back with their drinks, it's nothing amazing, in fact his drawings are just stick people talking to each other. He chuckles a little as he reads over their conversation and wipes the board clean in time to have it completely clean when Jinki comes back. 'Thank you,' the board reads when he turns it over. Taking a small sip of his tea, his board is cleaned one more and littered just as fast, 'Is there anything you want to ask me?' It reads.

Sitting back down in his seat across from the other, he catches him wiping his board clean, guessing he had probably been doodling on it as he waited and chuckles softly. He smiles as he picks up his own cup of tea, sipping at it happily before his eyes move to the others board once again, reading the words and places his cup on the table, nodding his head. “Ah, well, I guess I’d like to ask the obvious question first.. Why do you use the board to speak..? S-sorry if you don’t like talking about it or something..”

Jinki, it wasn't a name he heard often on the streets and perhaps that would be the reason why he would be remember it well. He pays little mind to the thought as he wipes his board clean and decides on what to drink. ' Are you sure? I could get them? But green tea would be nice.' He shrugs a little as he turns the board around, he made the decision to stop talking and in doing so he found ways to do things that those who talked did. ' Thank you, though.'

He waited patiently for the other to take his time writing down his next response, a friendly smile still spread across his features. Nodding as he read the next sentence written down, he stood up and shoved his hands in his pockets. "Yeah of course, I don't mind getting them. Green tea it is. It's really no problem." He flashes another smile as he heads over to order their drinks. Looking back over at the table as he waited for the drinks to be made, he wondered about how many questions he wanted to ask the other man. He was so intriguing, Jinki wanted to find out more about him. When the drinks were ready, he carried them back over to the table, placing them down as he sat in his seat again. "Here you go."

Relief comes when he follows the other into the cafe, he's even happier that the peak morning hour had probably already passed and it would be easier to talk. He motions to a table close to a window before making his way over towards the table and settling down. "I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Yixing," reads the board only a minute after he's sat down, a smile adorns his face as he looks at the other. "Do you want anything to drink?" He adds in a short while later.

Spotting the table the other had motioned to, Jinki makes his way over to sit at the table by the window, dumping his portfolio case down at his feet carefully. He straightens himself back up and smiles lightly over at the other, quickly reading the writing on the board and he raises his eyebrows slightly. “Oh, I’m sorry, I haven’t introduced myself either. It’s nice to meet you, Yixing. My name is Jinki.” He bows his head to the other before smiling at him again, reading over the new message in front of him and nods as he starts to stand up. “I can get it, don’t worry. What would you like to drink..?”

He follows after the stranger, falling into step beside him and glad that what he imagines is a great weight on the others shoulders will literally be removed. He doesn't wipe his board, wanting to wait until they reach the cafe before writing anything else. Though, it's crowded, it's still manageable to walk around without bumping into anyone on purpose. He smiles as he walks, the cafe being one he's visited before and still, the question over what the portfolio was came and went.

Jinki smiles as he turns to see the other following after him before he concentrates in front of himself again, not wanting to bump into anyone on the way. He kept glancing over to the man to make sure they hadn't gotten separated in the crowd until they reach the cafe the other had pointed out a short while ago. Pushing the door open, Jinki holds it open and smiles at the man as he leads him inside. "Ah, I'm glad it's not too busy in here.. Where would you like to sit..?"
