kurahaza's 100 baby challenge recap

i started this challenge june 2, 2020 because i was inside, and it took me a long time due to playing sporadically and burning out on it a lot after i came back outside, but finally reached baby 100 on november 25, 2024!

matriarchs: ◇ gen 1 - satine kidman (left): traits: family-oriented, outgoing, romantic; 74 babies total ◇ gen 2 - ackmena vader (right): traits: loner, green fiend, family-oriented; baby 73, daughter of satine and darth vader; 26 babies total total fathers: 90

◇ the photo above includes baby 1, friendly (back row + fifth from the left); baby 50, grizabella the werewolf (front row + second from the right); and baby 100, obi-wan (front row, toddler on ackmena's lap)

◇ the photo also shows the baby who was my current favorite at the end of the challenge, palpatine vader the vampire (front row + second from left)

◇ the matriarchs have a total of 8 occult kids (4 vampires, 2 mermaids, 1 werewolf, 1 spellcaster), 3 married kids, 16 grandkids, and 14 deceased kids

◇ i don't have a lot of screenshots from this because i never remembered to take pics but here's a few

◇ (L→R) satine helping draymond (61) + angelo (62) w a school project, ackmena's first kiss, obi-wan's birth, a family picture

◇ with occult sims counting twice, the 100th baby was baby 93, bellagio, but i wanted to play until 100 babies were actually born. bellagio is in the family picture above wearing the gold jacket

◇ 100% of satine's babies were conceived in a shower. there was no reason behind this, i just committed to it after the first one

◇ almost all of the fathers are celebrities and characters from pop culture, but the character anakin skywalker was technically a father three different times; i accidentally used two different anakin sims as donors 45 babies apart, and later darth vader was also a donor

Seated on an elaborately carved chair, she lifts the lid of a jewelry box held by an attendant. The attendant's small stature and cropped hair may indicate that she is a young relative mourning for the deceased, or that she is a servant or enslaved person."
