Sleepwalking in the rain . Apparently I signed up to “work” and not to have a vacation in France 😊 . Like all the best photo workshops I’ve taken, this one I’m in, is also not a walk in the park. I do literally walk a lot (averaging 6 miles, 24 flights of stairs each day) but it’s also challenging not being able to express what I wanted to say. But I’m thankful for everything: great instructor, wonderful and kind classmates, and new landscapes to explore. So, I’m still playing even though I’m super tired. I wish the weather would be kinder. This high wind and endless rain is adding a flavor of frustration to my experience but, still... je ne regrette rien. . Strange land . Day 22 of #100daysofplay . Sometime you‘re surprised by what’s included in your general wish list. . A long time ago, I wanted to explore Camargue because of the Gypsy King and horses. Today I got to be with a photographers group exploring the area, and I wasn’t sure I knew what to do. All I can say is that it was interesting, in a spooky way. I have a few more days with the program and I’m sticking with it to see that maybe I’ll get to know a part of myself that I didn’t know before. Always open your heart for delightful surprises. No bucket list necessary. . Day 2 of Barcelona wandering ended with a gift. . Thinking we missed our chance to see the inside because we didn’t book our tickets early enough for a visit this busy Easter weekend, the security let us in to attend Good Friday mass as churchgoers, not tourists.
