It’s been a lovely day back in good old Medway to finally close the door on a chapter that ended a while ago. Today I finally graduated from my Masters in Management from @kentbusinessschool . So glad to have been able to mark the occasion with the obligatory cathedral and the Corn Exchange pictures 😊. I also managed to spend some quality time with my friends who had popped down for graduation and who were local. Thank you for popping down and spending time 😊💜. Thank you very much to @unikentlive , @kentbusinessschool @kentunion , @thehubmedway and @unikentfood for all of the support over my time at the University of Kent and to all of the wonderful people who I crossed path with and gave me opportunities - I look forward to catching up with you all very soon. Thrilled to share that I have my final marks from my MSc in Management and I have achieved the top grade - a Distinction! 😊🎉🎉 The education journey has not always been easy, when my potential to achieve was doubted at various stages. I have learned that the best approach is to work hard to overcome the challenges, find ways to develop, grow and pursue one’s own goals. Today I have two degrees with good grades, including a very useful business MSc, and am employed full time in a field that I chose and enjoy. I’m thankful to those who have believed and supported me 100%, including my parents (Professor Ravi Silva CBE & Nayanee Silva FCA FCMI) who have given me the best career guidance and education and supported everything I did, my dissertation supervisor Prof. Joseph Amankwah-Amoah, Kent Business School and everyone at the University of Kent who gave me the opportunities to work whilst studying and develop my skills. And just like that, another chapter ends as I handed in my dissertation in yesterday for my Masters in Management @kentbusinessschool at the @unikentlive Medway. It’s been an amazing year despite Covid-19 curbing some of the events slightly. I am grateful to everyone who has supported me over this year 😊💜 and has been part of my university adventure!
