再见伯克利大学的中文课! A farewell to Berkeley Chinese.
Resurrecting the China blog to appreciate and commemorate the end of my Chinese language study at Cal.
1) From being barely able to correctly pronounce 你好 (hello; ni hao) to placing third in a Chinese speech contest two years in a row, all of my progress is due to these two wonderful laoshis, the very best Chinese language teachers anyone could have hoped for. Their encouragement and patience in teaching are incredible and they are so, so kind. 非常感谢林老师和蔡老师!
2) This girl. This here fellow warrior of Chinese 100XB. All of our conversations begin with...
"Did you do your Chinese homework?" | "Did you finish studying?" | "Dude that test was so hard." And in my case specifically, "我还没复习... 真的啊" (I still haven't studied yet... really.) Amiright?
Thank you for reminding me throughout the semester of our homework, tests, projects, and presentations. <3
3) Some 同学们 from 8 AM CHINESE 100XB! 加油~ in everything that you all go on to do. It's been real (and really, really early).
Thank you to the organizers of the EALC luncheon for allowing us to see our teachers and classmates for one last time before we graduate!
