Things have been really low-key over here this weekend. Lots of good food happening — eggs and hash browns are my current fixation. I’ve fallen off making morning banana/spinach smoothies a little bit, but plan to get back on that habit today.
I picked up this light green hoodie at Kohl’s the other day (for $9.. I love Kohl’s 😂) and I’ve been living in it. So big and soft and comfy!
This weekend we finally started to see some cool, crisp fall days and we took advantage by doing a local foliage drive. We live in such a beautiful area! This time of year especially always reminds me of that. Pep was along for the drive, of course, and he had a great time. Until he fell asleep, that is. ☺️ I took so many photos of him with the changing leaves in the background.. it’s little things like this that feel so lovely to be doing with my new little family unit. It makes my heart happy.
This week I’m off of work and we were debating doing a New England trip, but I just can’t get past my fear/aversion to staying in a public place with covid still being what it is. If it were only me and B, both vaccinated, maybe, but with pep coming along, I just can’t do it and feel good about it. We’re opting instead to doing a bunch of local day trips — today we’re going to go to a wildlife outdoor zoo and then pep has his 9-month check-up this afternoon. 9 months already!! I’m looking forward to seeing how much he’s grown and what the pediatrician has to say about how he’s doing.
