Why is 106.7 playing my brain’s playlist?
Seriously. Bangles? Manic Monday.
problem
okay so this morning i was in the car on my way to school and i was flipping through stations until i got onto a specific one. So of course I stopped because Ed Sheeran's song Perfect came and it was the version with Beyonce in it.
So after the song, the talk show host guy came back on and he plain out says "And that was it guys, Beyonce and the guy who's not up for a grammy."
Dont get me wrong, I love Beyonce. BUT WHAT THE FUCK.
THAT IS ED SHEERANS SONG AND THEY'RE GIVING HER CREDIT FOR IT AND JUST CALLING HIM THAT.
I am so upset. he worked so hard for this album.

Island Apollo releases new single “Hold It Down”!
Indie rock band Island Apollo has released their newest single Hold It Down! Produced by Eric Lilavois (Saint Motel, Atlas Genius) and featuring driving drums, layered vocals, upbeat guitar and synth bass riffs, their latest track continues the band’s strong run of catchy and infectious work. Born and bred in SoCal, Island Apollo has established themselves as one of LA’s hottest bands, having played at storied venues like The Roxy, The Troubadour, and on KROQ 106.7 ‘Locals Only’. Featuring frontman and guitarist Ryan Kilpatrick, their music has been described as “reminiscent of Freddie Mercury during his prime”. This fast-rising band combines the classic California surf vibe with funky urban grooves, which have earned them a dedicated following.
The band is familiar to WorldArts fans after having performed on the WorldArts Stage, and being selected as a Featured Artist, and our Spotlight Artist of the Month. The band was named Orange County’s “Best Pop Artist” at the OC Music Awards, and their songs have received placement nationally on FOX Sports, CBS, PBS, TeenNick, VH1, and the USA Network. The band’s music has also appeared in ads for Sprint, Sobe, and in a commercial with reigning Sports Illustrated cover model Kate Upton.
You can RSVP to see them live on May 4th at Lucky Strike Hollywood, along with Cosmos & Creature, and MRKTS. Listen to Hold It Down now and connect with them for all their latest updates!

Thank You...
Rodney Bingenheimer ... you were the greatest influence on my life and at almost 40 years old, I can look back and see every little ear worm you dropped in my head year after year...
I hope you all had an amazing DJ growing up like Rodney on the ROQ!
