It’s great to see (hear) that Simone improved her voice through years and now her live performances are great. During Epica shows between 2008-2010, her live voice wasn’t so nice due to her illness but through all these bad times she managed to keep her voice great. She always sounded like a mezzo-soprano on first five albums but on The Quantum Enigma she usually sings in a soprano voice and can hit high notes easily. Pregnancy affected her voice a lot but it’s obvious that she took a lot of vocal lessons and trained her voice so much.
