A mantel clock in early 19th-century French Empire style, made of mahogany and decorated with ormolu (fire-gilded bronze mounts) (~c.1805)

The sculptural figures (of the Eagle, Fortitude and Prudence) are designed by Charles Gabriel Sauvage and made by the Paris firm Dihl et Guerhard, known for high-quality biscuit porcelain. Detail with Prudence and her mirror:
