PRIDE. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend the movie, Pride (2014). Based on a true story where a group of lesbian and gay activists raised money for families of the British Miners’ Strike in 1984. It’s shows what happens when you care about others as much as yourself. June 18, 2018 I met @jessemccartney for the second time. It was the best night ever. We hadn’t seen each other in almost 4 years so he was just as excited to see me as I was to see him😊 He gave me the biggest hug. He rocked me back and forth like he does when he’s hugging someone on stage. Best. Hug. Ever! Lord knows I needed it after everything I went through between my grandma and my dogs. He loved the funko pop I made him and gave me a shout out on his story about it. Every one around me at the show was showing me and everyone was tagging me on Facebook and messaging me on here😂 Message received loud and clear guys😂 I had the best night. 10/10 would def recommend a Jesse McCartney concert. Review of The Outsider by Stephen King Holy shit. It's been a hot second since I've read a book this difficult to put down. The plot was incredible and compelling, combining the horrors of humanity with the supernatural. It kept me on the edge of me seat the entire time. Just when I thought that I had the villain figured out, there was another layer to dig into. There's a quote from King "...if I find that I cannot terrify, I will try to horrify, and if I find that I cannot horrify, I'll go for the gross-out." Well, he managed to do all three in The Outsider. The characters were thoroughly developed and well-rounded. This is especially impressive considering how late in the game some of them are brought in. Some of the best one liners I've come across in a long time are amongst the pages. There's a burn against Kubrick, snarky comebacks, and deadpan remarks that got a good laugh out of me.
