WALKING IN THE LIGHT
Have you ever walked in darkness? Maybe the power went out in your house during a storm, or you were stranded on the road with car trouble. Walking in darkness can be scary, and it can be dangerous.
Having a light is just a little better, isn't it?
The same is true in our spiritual journeys.
How can we find the light in the midst of darkness is actually pretty straightforward: Psalm 119 says that God's Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path-in other words, the Bible itself is the light! It is our guide. It helps us make decisions to follow Christ and not walk in darkness. Just as He is the light of the world, we are called to be His reflection in the world. When we intentionally choose to walk in His light, we ambrace truth, righteousness and love.
Walking in the light means surrendering our old ways, seeking God's guidance, and allowing His Spirit to shapre our thoughts, actions and attitudes.
As we walk in the light, a beautiful transformation occurs: we find fellowship with one another. This light of Christ not only illuminates our individual paths but also creates a bond of unity among believers. It's how we discover the joy of shared faith, encouragement, and accountability. It is through this bond that we are reminded that we are not alone on our journey.
Today, reflect on your walk with Christ. Are you consciously choosing to walk in His light? Are you growing in community? and are you fully embracing the cleansing power of Jesus' blood, allowing His grace to purify your life?
As you reflect, think about ways you can grow closer to God, experiencing the abundant life He has promised, and become a beacon of His light in a world that so desperately needs it.
God, You gave us Your Son, the light of the world. Give me the courage and strength of character to follow Jesus unconditionally. regardless of the trials or temptations I face, I want to walk with Him. I want to experience a personal relationship with Him, I want Jesus to be the one thing I pursue above all else. In Jesus' name, Amen.
SHARE YOUR FAITH
Kids need Jesus, too. Look for a moment this week to share God's love with a child in your life-they're closer to the Kingdom than you think.

God, it's in Your presence that I find joy! You are so kind to me, and Your compassion and mercy follow me relentlessly. There is nowhere I can go to escape You, and there's nothing I can do that would scare You away. You are constantly inviting me to seek You and accept You. Thank You for never giving up on me. FINAL GREETINGS
2 TIMOTHY 2:8-13
INSIGHT
Paul encourages Timothy to endure hardship for the sake of the gospel (2 Timothy 2:3) and reminds him to “remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead” (v. 8). The faith of believers in Jesus is anchored in Christ’s death and resurrection. The apostle reminds us that those who endure suffering for Jesus’ sake will reign with Him, but those who reject Him in the face of persecution will be rejected by Him (v. 12; see Matthew 10:22, 32-33; Hebrews 10:38-39). We can endure suffering because of the faithfulness of Christ. And even when our commitment isn’t as consistent or strong as it should be, He’ll still be faithful: “If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself” (2 Timothy 2:13). In the face of death, we can witness for Jesus because “the one who calls [us] is faithful” (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

LIVING WITH JESUS
Physician Christian Ntizimira sensed God’s calling to provide end-of-life care in under-resourced areas of his home country of Rwanda. Colleagues often didn’t see the value of such care because “these patients were already considered hopeless.” But Ntizimira found that for patients and their families, his “presence offered a rekindling of hope when all seemed lost.” Ntizimira is grounded in his work by the conviction that Jesus’ death and life can transform how we approach death because “the death of Christ is the source of life.”
In 2 Timothy, the apostle Paul testified to how the reality that Jesus “destroyed death and . . . brought life and immortality to light through the gospel” (1:10) changed how he understood his suffering. Though Paul was a prisoner facing possible execution (2:9), Jesus’ resurrection grounded him in his calling—to point others to salvation through Christ (v. 10). For “if we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him” (vv. 11-12).
Dying with Jesus doesn’t just mean what happens at believers’ literal deaths. In his letter to the Romans, Paul explained that, as symbolized in baptism, believers are united with Christ’s Spirit in His death and resurrection life (Romans 6:4-8).
Because Christ lives in us, even when we face death’s terrors, we can live for and witness to Him.

REFLECT AND PRAY
When have you unexpectedly witnessed hope? How can believers witness to Christ’s resurrection?
Merciful God, please help me witness to the love and hope of Jesus.
THE CHOSEN AND FRIENDS: GOD WITH US
THE MIRACLE YOU NEVER SAW COMING
What do you do when you pray for something with all your heart, and God doesn’t answer the way you hoped? When the mountain doesn’t move, even though your faith was real?
That’s the tension the Apostle Paul felt when he begged God to remove his thorn—and God said no. Instead, the Lord answered, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Some miracles happen to us, but others happen through us, even when we’re still carrying pain. That’s what makes the conversation in The Chosen between Jesus and Little James so powerful. Scripture never says James had a disability, but the imagined scene captures a truth woven throughout the Bible: God works through weakness. Paul preached with a thorn, and the show imagines James ministering in the shadow of his limitations. Even today, God chooses ordinary, everyday people—who are often navigating difficult circumstances—to carry His extraordinary power.
Sometimes the greatest miracle is not that God takes the pain away, but that He redeems it, sustains us through it, and uses us in spite of it.
We live in the “Saturday” space between the Cross and Resurrection—promises made but not fully fulfilled. The hurt is real, but so is the hope. One day, the lame will leap like deer. Healing will come. And until then, grace is enough.
Don’t mistake unanswered prayers for God’s absence. He is doing more than you know, even in the dark.
The miracle you never saw coming may be what He does inside you.
