I stumbled in on FarragoFiction a few months ago when I was curious about dollmakers, and my curiosity only grew as I saw “Brought to you by SBurbSim” on the page’s top.  Some shenanigans ensued.

Correction -- many shenanigans ensued.

When I joined in, I was met with the warmest welcome ever.  The community's the absolute nicest, and so I began to spend lots of time there.

Some of the many things that occurred on here were and are not limited to: Me dueling Shogun, getting blessed with the title ҳҳ̸Ҳ̸ҳViolin AssholeҳҲ̸ҳ̸ҳ, expanding my artistic talents, and becoming a roleReader (a submod).

So, here’s to 2 years of FF, and to many more!

Farrago Fiction could disappear one day. But don’t expect me to cry. It’s a pebble that’s tossed into a river, but never makes a splash on the surface. A ripple would be superficial anyways.

Try as I might, I do, really, to love and adore Farrago Fiction, but I find that it’s a bunch of birds that scatter when I throw feed. Bunch of beautiful pigeons that never want to enter the good grace of free food.

Have you heard of a website called “Farrago Fiction”?

Farrago Fiction is a website that means more than the games and puzzles that reside within itself. It is built from the love and support from the community behind it. Everyone involved in it has made a life impacting change to not just the website, but also the community for being amazing individuals. In a way, it’s more than a Homestuck website or community, but its own unique and loving one. If it wasn’t for this one website, I wouldn’t be the individual that I am. Loving, supportive, acceptive, memey, caring, and kindliness is the words I would describe this community. In a huge way, it’s a big loving family to many people.

113Contest!!!

Alright, just as foretold by the Start Year 3 Voice Chat (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7s25kaCR9g)  (and you may have seen some people from the Discord getting a head start) it’s time to publicly announce the START YEAR 3 WRITING COMPETITION.  

Some of my favorite moments these past two years have been when y’all tell me how important this project has been to you, how nice it is to see your work being used by people.  That kind of shit is what gets me coding till 1am :) :) :) 

 So. We’re looking for a max of 113 words on what FarragoFiction means to you, with points given to creativity, gigglesnort and how inspiring it is.  Post this on tumblr or twitter or WHEREVER so long as you bring my attention to it (ping me, send me an email or dm or whatever with a link) and it’s viewable by other people too. 

 There will be 8 runners up that will be allowed to name a LOMAT npc, and 5 finalists who will get to work directly with the team to write gigglesnort heavy dialogue for LOMAT npcs.  The contest runs until February 13th of this year.  

 Also, those currently banned by this discord are ineligible to enter. Thems the breaks.
