I'm making pancakes for dinner tonight. Don't forget to walk Dash and make sure Emmy does her homework. Ronan was relaxing and texting the older of his younger sisters in one of the quieter common rooms, having just gotten settled from his brief trip back to district one. His sisters, both of reaping age, had been required back in their home district despite the fact that the Academy had volunteers lined up. Sleep had evaded him for the past couple weeks and he was running more on expresso and sugar than anything else, but when he heard footsteps approaching he secured a smile and looked up. "Hey."

“The 115th Congress was sworn in this week, and an impressive crop of new feminist women were among them - leaders who will take up the fight for women’s rights in the Senate and the House. There will be more women of color than ever in the U.S. House, and a diverse group of four women are making history as members of the Senate. Overall, women gained one seat in the Senate and lost one in the House this session - but there will be 10 new women House members, six of them women of color and two who defeated Republican incumbents to add to the net pickup of six seats for House Democrats.
Meet 11 of the new feminists in town.”
