Hola, 11K Followers!!!

Not long ago, reaching 10,000 followers. The round number didn't change anything, but it was a challenge and required understanding the dynamics of virality and mainstream tastes on Tumblr. I also worked hard to keep the blog active, selecting content and scheduling posts 24/7. And well, it was close to Christmas, the momentum continued, and I stuck to that way of working out of habit, and we reached 11,000 without even realizing it.

Hace poco, parece nada, mi esfuerzo funcionó para llegar a los 10 mil. No cambiaba nada el número redondo, pero era un reto y suponía entender las dinámicas de viralización y gustos mayoritarios en Tumblr, también me esforzaba en tener el blog con actividad continua seleccionando contenidos y programando posts 24/7. Y bueno, llegué cerca de las navidades, siguió la inercia de eso y yo esa forma de trabajar por costumbre y nos hemos puesto en 11 mil sin darme cuenta.

I took a break today by not preparing any posts in advance, which is why there was a pause of a few hours. I suppose I should aim for 12,000 followers so that more people can read what I write. That's always been the idea; it's not ego. It's just that these posts only get about 50 likes if I go by the engagement metrics. I'll continue posting beautiful visuals, but I want to comment more on the photos and have them spark thought or debate about the nature of expressing desire or what is desirable. Perhaps that will mean I'll post less, but that way these posts will have more value, and… my average is around 40 posts a day. If they were half that number but twice as selective and with more text, would that make you feel like I was neglecting you a bit? I don't think so, and you definitely deserve better quality. I'll try.

He descansado hoy no dejando posts preparados con antelación, por eso hubo pausa de unas horas. Supongo que debería pensar en los 12 mil y que así haya mas gente que pueda leer los textos que escribo. Esa ha sido siempre la idea, no es ego. Es que apenas gustan estos a 50 personas si hago caso a las interacciones. Seguiré posteando belleza gráfica, pero quiero comentar más las fotos y que estas den para pensar o debatir sobre la naturaleza de la plasmación del deseo o lo deseable. Quizá eso me haga postear menos, pero así tendrán más valor estos posts y… mi media pueden ser unos 40 posts al día ¿Si fueran la mitad pero el doble de selectos y con texto sería eso verme menos o sentir que os abandono un poco? Creo que no, y sí que os merecéis más calidad. Lo intentaré.
