Comments: Excellent writing and characterization, and, as you can see, since it spans several occasions, the whump is extensive. Steve and Tony’s bromance is great, as is Steve and Sam’s. And really, I can’t oversell how great the whump is. And the team is so concerned and caring! It warms my cold, dead heart lol

This is a variant of “Thân ai nấy lo, phận ai nấy giữ / Care for your own body, care for your own situation.” This is equivalent to English writer Chaucer’s “Every man for himself” and “Look after/out for number one” (i.e., oneself is referred to as number one).
