The first time he did this, I about had a heart attack.

I thought Gus had died. Turns out he was sleeping. He falls asleep while attached to the underside of a branch and then just... lets go and falls/drifts down to the bottom of the tank?!!

This is a regular occurrence! Eventually one of the other fish comes along and wakes him up and he just rolls over and goes about his business. Does anyone else have a plecostomus that likes to drop like overripe fruit from a tree while sleeping? I have had a number of plecos in my life and none of them have exhibited this talent. (It took me a while to get halfway decent photos of this so that I could prove I was not making it up.)

As the debate escalates the Imp realizes something important. His nephew has spent the last year growing, and standing next to the disputed chair the contestants are face to face.

The Imp has a concern. When did this happen?

Mr the Mung Bean strikes at the opportune moment, when his Uncle is distracted by reality.

The Imp goes off to plan his revenge, leaving the Bean in possession of the desired perch.... but Mr Mung discovers that the wanting is more fun than the having and plots his next assault on his Uncle.
