Sunny Peach

I once dreamed about a peach. I was hunting everywhere for a peach because the world was running out. People said there were none left. People said there were some left, but not many. I traveled across the world in a huge plane with an interior that looked like a classic living room with fireplace and coffee table and wood sculptures of African tribesmen. I spent days and nights in jungles and came across a mystic that told me, “The last tree of peaches exists in the cold snow below in a circle of sunlight where the sun is so bright that it is summer forever. The peaches that grow on that tree are supposed to taste like sunshine after a cold night of darkness and rain and they’re supposed to grant wishes in a similar way to how fortune cookies give fortunes.”

not so silent night 2015 summary

this is gonna be short bc we only stayed like half the time and i gotta study for finals but here goes

we got there like halfway through the 2nd set and like 45 minutes late because there was so much traffic on 880 [audience booing] so we missed x ambassadors which i was v :((((((((( about until i saw that they only played like 5 songs so it wasn’t devastating

our seats were in like this corporate suite thing which was SO CUSHY OH MY GOD there were super comfy seats and free food so we were just eating mac and cheese and caesar salad between the sets

speaking of between the sets greg beharrell was as annoying as ever. shut up greg

oh yeah and all we saw of foals was a song and a half of yelling

but chvrches were after them and they were very fun and dancey!!! i loved them and lauren mayberry talked about the vibrating penguins on the side stage at one point and asked if they were family friendly

and after that was HALSEY THE QUEEN HERSELF GOOD LORD

i was standing up and singing and dancing my ass off the whole time while my friend anisha who i went with was sitting down and i was like wtf are u doing this is HALSEY

during castle she walked all the way around the pit and the barricade and just WENT IN FROM THE BACK OF THE PIT AND EVERYONE WAS JUST STANDING THERE ALL BORED AND I WAS LIKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING GODDAMMIT SHE IS /RIGHT THERE/

roman holiday and colors made me very emo

she also said it was her first show with her head shaved !! aaah

after her was silversun pickups and they were too much yelling for me so i sat behind the bar in our suite and ate more mac n cheese

bastille were after them and they were REALLY GOOD except i was mad bc they didn’t play the draw or of the night but that’s okay

also dan smith’s dancing is horrible but also cute

and then we left after them because anisha’s dad had an 8am flight the next morning and we didn’t care enough about death cab for cutie or weezer enough to stay so that was it
