reporter: when you were 12-13 years old, what were you excited about, going to california? starting the next chapter?

mack: I was sad. didn’t want to leave. um…it’s [vancouver’s] my hometown, and, uh—I mean. I was here my whole life, so. so making that move wasn’t easy. but, I mean…and then ever since then I kinda didn’t stay in one place for too long, so I kinda got used to it. but, um…yeah. no, I—I remember I didn’t really want to leave.
