There are some things people do that I will think about and be thankful for for years, like the girl who walked me to the nurse in kindergarten after I skinned my knee, or the couple who switched their flight so I wouldn't miss mine, or the kid who came up and asked for a hug when I was crying on the stairs after school one day, or the teacher who asked if I was okay instead of yelling at me for sleeping in class, or the night my friend stayed up with me until 7am because she didn't want to leave me alone while I was sad and people just do little things that will probably always make me so happy and grateful.
just because i live at the end of the cul-de-sac does not mean the neighborhood kids should be allowed to light their firecrackers and fireworks and stuff in front of my house
