Tower of God episode 11 was decent, we’re in another test where I don’t think I really get what’s going on (how is it even a test for Bam and Rachel if all they need to do is sit still while their classmates take care of everything else?) and also that Ren thing is still sorta just being an obstacle in a narrative that likely won’t see a proper conclusion unless we get more seasons. Oh well. Money’s on horned girl saving lizard girl because this anime is shounen.

Also I didn’t say this until now but shoutouts to the Tower of God fandom, I got a couple of replies on my last post that were all just, super civilly bringing to my attention that many of the problems I’m having with this anime are specific to the adaptation, they’re all very receptive to my criticisms and giving polite feedback and boy is that a nice feeling. You guys are great.

I didn't think much of the rain before I met you

sometimes it made me cozy

sometimes it made me gloomy

but I never preferred it one way or the other

until that day you walked in with your hair soaking wet

and I begged you to put on a jacket before going back outside and you said no

because you liked the rain

and I watched you watch the rain poor from the doorway between customers

I watched you admire the way the world looked

the way the earth smelled

and decided that maybe the rain wasn't too bad

now when it rains I think of you

I think about how you're probably in your room

doing your homework

and how the rain probably makes you feel just a little bit cozier

a little bit happier

and that thought makes me happy too

I've met many people who love the rain

who love the smell

who love the feeling that comes with it

but you are the first to make me excited about the rain
