This is old news, but it surprised me how well-received Alissa White-Gluz was by Arch Enemy fans and the public in general, not because she isn’t talented enough, I mean, she’s awesome, but considering the backlash bands usually get when they change the lead-singer, I was blown away. Perhaps it is because Angela left the band consciously and she chose Alissa herself to fill her shoes, she knew what she was doing, she wasn’t kicked out, there wasn’t bad blood & she still manages the band. I’m not sure, but it’s really cool to see that. I love both Alissa & Angela. They’re both very talented, beautiful and great frontwomen.
