“I like how we match” Abel said with a soft smile as he nudged Ashton’s shoulder with his own. It wasn’t obnoxious, but they were coordinated, in a classy kind of way, which was nice. “I promise not to get as shitfaced tonight as I was the other day” he said then, but he was still drinking, couldn’t quite help himself as he sipped on the second fancy cocktail of the night.

Sapphire wasn’t usually the date type, but when the opportunity came about to go to the ball with Surya, she couldn’t really turn it down. It was Surya after all. “Can’t say I’m surprised by the theme” she sad, twirling her martini around, even though she thought it tasted vile. “At least it’s not some stupid beach theme, we can escape the sand for one night”
