Eddie and Steve are childhood friends for a short time but Eddie rejects Steve in front of his other friends and when he tries to act like everything is okay one on one Steve lies and says he needs to go home and then basically ghosts Eddie. Of course Eddie takes zero accountability and tells himself that Steve "proved him right" or something. it was on ao3 and was a wip last year i think

LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy (1280)
What am I going to tell you? Something that you probably already know much better than me. I am not a fan of these movies or books. The Hobbit aside, which I liked very much and read when I was 15 years old, I'm now 76, I still remember some passages that has stuck in my mind. Yes, I've seen a movie or two of the franchise. The films are well done, but I felt stupid watching them, more for kiddies to be awed by, the same with the books that I had to put it down. But it's just me. Don't take it to heart and continue to be a fan of J. R. R. Tolkien turned cult figure. The IMdB ratings of the trilogy of the films are over the top, so they must have done something right.
