Day 11 - This just happens to be Mike's favourite video, despite the pain of loosing a brand new GoPro on the descent (keep an eye out for it - if you find one it's ours). The Col de la Croix de Fer from Barrage de Verney holds many a memory for sportive lovers, becoming more and more remote as you etch ever closer to the Iron Cross to be met with mesmerising views by the summit. Day 10 We are sooo close, we know it's madness, the cat's pulled down the tree, the turkey needs to be collected, presents need wrapping oh and don't forget to pick up Grandma! Breathe, take a minute and reward yourself with a trip to the Alps, lavish in the thought of bike riding, mountains and serenity and join us in Jausiers. Let us take you on a 24km journey to the highest heights of the Col de la Bonette and just for a moment, to a place where there is not a Santa or jingle bell in sight! Oh and whilst you're here, dig out some photos and post away!

Day 9 The infamous hairpins and quite possibly the most frequented road for amatuers and professionals alike. With a reminder of the past winners on every corner, our beloved Alpe d'Huez holds a very special place in the history of our sport. Whilst not the prettiest of climbs, you cannot hep but enjoy every moment, (in a way only cyclists know how) as you countdown to bend zero following in the tracks of the Tours gone by. How many bend photos can we gather? Between us do we have them all? Share away!

‪Day 7 Despite being the third highest road pass in the Alps, offering some of the most awe inspiring scenery, a summit border between France and Italy, sensational views and an abundance of nature and wildlife to keep to company on the way to the summit, do you need any more reasons to climb this silent giant? Enjoy the Col Agnel (or Colle dell'Agnello if you're in Italy) Post your own pictures of your epic journey to the summit of this mighty mountain.

‪Day 6 We turn our attention to just one of the many delights of Italy, boasting spectacular views and even a lake at the summit, the Passo Gavia is an absolute must for any cyclist. We ride with Mike from Bormio reminding ourselves once again just why we love this road so much! P.S. We also get to see him enjoying the descent this time! ‪We're cruising now..day 5! A climb that tests the iron will of so many riders. Don't let the pretty pictures fool you, the last 2km serves up a delight of +10% gradients with an occasional side order of 'brutal block headwind' but keep the faith my friends, get your head down (actually keep your head up) this last ribbon of tarmac weaves through a landscape of grand mountains so close you can almost touch them. Rugged rock rising out of lush green meadows that make every painful pedal stroke 100% worth it. The Col du Glandon will always hold some very special memories for us. We are certain many of you have a few tales to tell from one of our most favourite mountain roads.

‪Day 4 Another of cycling's climbs rich in racing heritage and jewel in the Pyrenean crown, the road winding up to the summit of the Col du Tourmalet has greeted decades of professional and amateur riders alike, each with their own tales of joy and woe. A fitting monument to Octave Lapize, the first cyclist ever to crest the summit, proudly welcomes riders as they cross their own proverbial finish line etching their mark on the road and adding their own piece of history to this incredible mountain. ‪Day 2 - Hautacam! We head back over to the Pyrenees for a look at another classic climb. With its stair stepping variations in gradient it's a real stinger for the legs but a treat to tick this one off the list. We bring you a double whammy today as on this occasion we also get to enjoy the riding back down just click on the descent at the end of the video.
