Good morning! If you haven’t heard, my lovely reps started their annual #12DaysOfTML challenge yesterday! The first prompt was #HogsmeadeHoliday and I was blown away by the beautiful entries! You can head on over to @themeltingheadquarters to see the entire photo challenge and remember, you DO NOT need these candles to participate! You can interpret the challenge any way you’d like. ❄️ Today’s prompt is Winter Court, which is perfect because it snowed overnight here! ❄️ Also, some of my reps are giving away a TML gift card to their favorite participants! STORY TIME: I'm cackling at myself 😂 like out loud because I've deleted 2 photos today, but I won't be deleting this one🙈. I'm not in the habit of deleting photos.....BUT...... ---------- I first posted a book next to a tree then remembered, "Oh I have my challenge photo." LOL!! Then I tried to use an app for falling snow and it looked horrendous from other people's phones 😭. {So sorry to those that commented on & liked the others.} Moral of the story: When you catch yourself DOING TOO MUCH, find some chill, stick with your first mind & think simply. Tomorrow's Christmas Eve Mass will be the first year I haven't been requested to help out with the children's choir. I'll be glad to just sit back and enjoy the liturgy and watch the tiny hobbits sing and pageant* from the front instead of from the choir stands. ☺️ . . *is that a verb? To Christmas-Pageant? Day 11 ~ A Lit Up Holiday ~ @themeltinglibrary #12DaysofTML • Today was a perfect day!! It's 36°F outside so there's a very nice & tolerable winter breeze🌙🌪. I got some blogging done at this cute & very atmospheric café!! I'm going to come here to write some days. It's so cozy!! • I devoured 'It Ends With Us' and wow😱 I so enjoyed and loved this book!!!! I wrote a review if you care to read it {LINK IN BIO}. Thank you for your passion about CoHo; another author I wasn't aware of until joining this wonderful community. Going to go back to 'Name of the Wind' a bit later today. I just couldn't put IEWU down!! • Can you believe we're two days away from Christmas? One day away for some of you!! And it's Fri-Yay!!! Day 10 ~ Holiday Brew ~ @themeltinglibrary #12DaysofTML • I decided my 'Autumn Court' candle would be appropriate for today as we bid adieu to our favorite season.🍁🍂{USE CODE 'THERUSTICWINDOW10' for your next purchase} • I'm on Part 2 of 'It Ends With Us' and oh how I love this book. You all were right! I really love the pacing of CoHo's writing. I have a November 9 review up on the blog I wrote awhile ago, but I kind of love this one more. Which CoHo book should I read next?? • I was tagged by my friend @wildrequiem for #meetthebookstagramner so here we go.... --------- Where in the world are you from? // I was born and raised in Chicago, but I live in a village adjacent to Chicago's west side and I love it!! When did you start your bookstagram? // January 26, 2016 Would you rather be a publisher or an author? // I would rather be an author who publishes her own books and others in het own publishing company. Do you prefer standalones or series? // I prefer a well told story, not overdone for the sake of selling books. Some stories require a flip side😘. Which author is your biggest inspiration? // Oh gosh!! AuthorS??? LOL. Toni Morrison, Octavia Butler, Zora Neale Hurston, JK Rowling, Stephen King and Donna Tartt. Where in the world do you wish to travel? // Maldives and Bora Bora but the list is endless. Cats or dogs? // Koala's lol. But I do have a sweet precious kitty named Isabella. What's your favorite movie? // Nah. Too many. What's your biggest fear? // Not getting to a place where I don't have any but with that complacency, redundancy and monotony and working a job where my creativity is supressed and stifled.
