Wow wow! I hope your well too. Yes thank you! Especially in the state I’m in, lgbt people and livelihood is not looked at as a positive. Recently Texas has literally has pulled back on LGBT rights protections? But no matter where you are there IS a way! I encourage people to DO RESEARCH! There ARE clinics that specialize in queer care (my doctor was even a trans woman!!!)
I’m very happy I got my prescription! I waited fr all year. I got on the phone with them on January 6th. I’m on a payment plan too so I pay what I can every 6 months I’m so privileged, and I won’t say lucky because ANYONE can have access to HRT. HRT is not the only other gender affirming care, there’s so much you can do to feel like yourself in your own body. I also tape and pack and I love being transgender. I’m 3 weeks on T :-D! (There are very useful zines out there to get access to T and good info on them.) I will say as someone who was scared about complications, T and measuring, perceipt., needles, etc etc etc is NOT at ALL as hard as I thought it was. I get my shot done in under a minute. If you have any questions about it lmk! :3
