Andddddd we’re back folks. I started again (on my own last Sunday since my work schedule is crazy and I can’t make it to a meeting). I’ve had a few slip ups this week, but I still lost! Now- I’ve been trying to loose the roughly 20lbs that I put on after hitting my goal weight 3 years ago now , BUT I can say I’ve stayed the same within 5 lbs since. I’ve always felt- even when I worked with WW that maintenance is key. Plus, the absolute HARDEST part of a weight loss journey. I tend to beat myself up about the 20-25ish lbs I gained after reaching goal, but I’ve learned to be kinder to myself. In total, I’m still down 133 lbs! 133 LBS!! Literally a human! I will not lie- I got caught up in “forget it- I wanna live my life and eat what I want” for a second- but I’ve found the balance again. Balance is key. Will I still sit down and have 3 glasses of wine some Saturdays? Absolutely. I will also remind myself how far I’ve come and how much better I feel when I’m staying in track. . . . Don’t punish yourself if you have a gain. You’re human. You’re allowed to enjoy yourself. We only live once. If you want that glass of wine- drink it. Eat the price of cake.
