as much as i want peaceful days for yuder and kishiar, i love how there's that ongoing tension and dread consistently looming in the backdrop of even the funniest or the most sensual of scenes

our leads are powerful yes, very much so. it's beyond human really. but they also have issues with their constitution and limits they can't carelessly breach.

on top of that, so many unknowns! the impending catastrophes! we won't know how terrible it will be for sure until it's there. what's causing it? how to stop it? how did yuder regress in the first place? why him? why just him?

questions that have been there from the very beginning, and we've only gotten a few threads for clues. not much to weave with! in that, it's not enough to feel certain that it's definitely X that's causing this, and they have to do Y to finally fix everything.

chaos could erupt in a matter of a few dozen chapters. yuder, kishiar, and the people around them, no matter how skilled they have become, could still get seriously hurt.

i wonder if any of the characters readers have grown fond of will die even at this current timeline. will the author do that?

i know his eyes get damaged somehow and when he wakes up in the hospital the party is trying to gently break the news but hes like wdym? i can see. and theyre confused bc his eyes are covered with bandages.

when he later goes home he could like sense or "see" the bugs hidden by the feds in his home. so they have to wait for murray to lend a device to discover them so as not to reveal steves ability. he then later checks everyone else's homes but it was just his that was bugged i believe.

i think steve and eddie also have like a psychic connection with each other? maybe?
