Land of Kings AU " The Unnamed "

Short Summary: After the fall of Verona, Felix is exiled beyond the border and begins a second life in Zontopia. Drawn into the Umbrella Faith, he becomes a divine emissary whose mercy is inseparable from violence. As religious conflict escalates, Felix and Brolly are forced to flee, their existence turning into the catalyst for a holy war.

I don't actually draw exactly according to this outline; it's just a collection of inspiration notes.

↓ Story Summary (Rough Outline):

After witnessing the fall of Verona, Felix begins a reign of tyranny. Hatred among the people steadily grows, and by the time Franz realizes what is happening, his king can no longer hear him—Felix has developed psychosomatic deafness.

Out of concern for his well-being, Franz temporarily takes control of the government, claiming to act in accordance with public will. Felix agrees, trusting him completely.

During his period of “recovery,” Felix regresses into a happier, more childlike state. Franz soon uncovers a betrayal among the court officials and deceives Felix into crossing the border, effectively exiling him.

fter wandering the wilderness for several days, Felix is taken in by Brolly, a traveler passing through. When he wakes, his hair has turned silver.

Felix begins a new life in Zontopia, where he learns of Brolly’s burdens and decides to become his shadow—observing in his stead and serving as his confidant.

He is absorbed into the Umbrella Faith as a paladin-like figure. Both the Pontiff and Halberd recognize that Felix’s personality makes him suitable to become a “Divine Emissary.”

Through religious fervor used as a form of trauma treatment, Felix’s hearing returns—but only for matters related to Brolly, sharpening his focus and sensitivity in a distorted, singular way.

As conflict erupts within the Umbrella Faith between Halberd and Shield, Felix flees with Brolly. They are eventually granted protection by Kuromaku of Kurograd.

Meanwhile, Franz’s authority is hollowed out. Felix and Brolly are declared key religious figures, and Zontopia and Felicia form an alliance, igniting a holy war.

"Thanks for your help today, you did better than usual."

I thought you'd like more time to cope. You started to improve after our little incident. I'm glad that everything is back to normal.

You're happy too, aren't you, Arex (Kuromaku)?

G — Did you want something, Brolly?

B — Wha..What are you doing?

G — I cook borscht, see?

B — ... Oh! You made a horse! You know, I'm really glad that you've found something to do besides collecting all the junk around. Good job!

G — It's an amulet! And all the other "junk" too!

B — An amulet? From what?

G — Don't you know that this place is cursed? There is no fire burning, candles are going out, Felix's cat behaves strangely at night.. I think we've got some kind of evil spirit and he's messing with us. At the old times, to scare them away, a horse was buried in the ground near the house. But we have a shortage of horses.

G — That's why I bury the wooden horse, it helps for a while. But the spirit digs it out anyway! for the 4th time already! We're running out of materials, Brolly. It's bad. I need your help. Cut the wood horses. Now!

*3 wooden horses later* (The next day)

The end!

by the way, Gabriel told the real fact. In Rus', horses were buried in fields and at the base of houses to buy off evil spirits
