I woke up at 9 am. I was at work the night before for 9 hours and got home at 2 am. I was sore waking up, especially around my arms.

I broke it off with Mike, which made me cry and tired. So I didn’t really get out of bed ‘til 2 pm. I was just so tired. I’m amazed of how well I’m taking it. Mike’s texts gives me a sense that he’s going through different stages of emotions. First acceptance, then push back, then denial. It’s backwards.

At least work wasn’t as bad as last night. I reminded myself that as it is a physical job, I can do working meditation. My feet started hurting and I got bad hunger pangs that went away as soon as I left the lab. Like WTF. I got a junior jumbo jack and sparkling water at Jack-in-the-Box. Kept myself from eating agein when I got home.

Another weird day. One forward step after the other. I’m reminded that I need to keep meditating. This whole hectic week hasn’t allowed me time to process what’s been happening. I need that breathing space.
