The Beatles filming for Magical Mystery Tour in Newquay, Cornwall and/or Teignmouth, c. 13th September 1967. The bottom photo is from a colour slide taken by a lucky Beatle fan who was on holiday there at the time the Beatles were filming. The auction which was selling it attributed it as being in Teignmouth.

Battle No. 280, dated 13 September 1980. After Johnny was shot down over the Barents Sea a few weeks ago who could possibly be flying this blood-red Hurricane? Johnny Red cover by John Cooper. Treasury of British Comics.
'Hurricat' is a reference to Johnny Red's Hurricane being one of those that could be launched by catapult from a ship.

Peter Flint makes his 'final' cover appearance on an issue of Warlord. He does survive this encounter but it's final in the sense that there were only another two issues after this one. It's a pity that, as the one constant through the title's life, he didn't get to appear on the cover of the last issue. For that matter his earliest cover appearance was on No. 5 so he didn't get to appear on the first issue either.
