Peter Flint makes his 'final' cover appearance on an issue of Warlord. He does survive this encounter but it's final in the sense that there were only another two issues after this one. It's a pity that, as the one constant through the title's life, he didn't get to appear on the cover of the last issue. For that matter his earliest cover appearance was on No. 5 so he didn't get to appear on the first issue either.

Warlord No. 575, dated 28 September 1985. Code-Name Warlord cover by Ian Kennedy. The plane shown is the Me 163 Komet. It did fly and it did down allied planes but it saw enough losses itself, between testing and combat, to mean it was never considered a success.
