"Rassilon, I'm getting old," the Doctor groaned, moving carefully, holding an arm tight across her chest as she did so. Her ribs were aching. All of them were, actually, a deep and unpleasant pain, which her strong bones should really have not been able to feel. That was not the issue. The main issue was the deep orange-red blood that was dripping between her fingers. Her shirt was ripped, and she'd pulled the coat over top as best she could to hide it.

Letting out a shaky cough, she stumbled, bracing an arm on the wall, taking a moment. She could feel her body aching, throbbing, in so many horrible ways... she didn't want to regenerate. Not yet, not like this, but without some help sooner rather than later... that would be an option off the table.

A low Gallifreyan curse escaped her lips, the disgusting words sounding like soft summer chimes, jaw clenching as she panted to get herself through the next wave of agony. "Come on, Doctor. You can do this." she gasped.
