Read the remainder of the NiGHTS Archie comics, I think this batch might've been worse off than the first batch lol. Art wasn't great anyway but it's taken a hit here. I guess the narrative is a bit more comprehendable? But that doesn't mean it was good. Oh well. I'm one step closer to NiGHTS completionism. Speaking of which I did learn that Journey of Dreams has gamecube controller support so yeah I'll just emulate that. Updates whenever I get around to that.
Negative Reaction
I liked this one! Bit of a bias going on here, I like photography a lot and this episode is, uh, about that to a large extent. But no I mean it was a good fun with a nice staged kidnapping type murder and a nice "aww man that was sad you didn't need to do that" second murder. Plus for one of the longer episodes there weren't really any obvious like filler scenes I wanted to see cut. Dick Van Dyke makes for a good murderer as well, plus he's one that gets really genuinely annoyed with Columbo, which I feel like we haven't seen in a while. He was actually one of the clumsier murderers we've seen as well I think, really struggles to get his stories together but it just so happened he left a clean enough trace for Columbo to struggle. I did like the gotcha though, Columbo manufacturing a scenario wherein the murderer convicts himself with knowledge he shouldn't have. It was just satisfying, straight up. The fact that he actually calls out Columbo for banking on this one specific scenario was very nice too, since I'm kind of tired of the silent finisher. Good stuff, ggs.
You're right. There is nothing funny about civilization.
You know what they made riding on a boat quite a lot more interesting than I expected it to be for taking up nearly 50 minutes of this whole season
