I always had this insecurity about having very few friends whom I could actually confide in, especially since my siblings had strong, long-lasting friendships since their primary school days. And I somehow found two different groups of friends in JC. One being people who know some of my deepest secrets. Another being people whom I am comfortable enough without having to share these secrets. Talking to these groups of people even after months feels just as natural. It does not matter where we are or what we are doing. Just knowing I have these people to fall back on is enough for me these days and knowing I will be there for them no matter what. I do not think I can ever forgive myself if I screwed up my friendships with these people, like I did in the past....
Let’s just hope I don’t.
