Newcastle: Dramatic Tone Summer 2019: After far too long I was back for 24 hours in the city I left at 18. A lot has changed. The Sage kick started a regeneration by the river much like the South Bank in London. True, the sun was out and it was a mild summer evening and following early morning but it was uplifting to wander about. It also reminded me that I think it is man made structures that appeal to me most if I am going to start taking and posting more images. I am still messing with over exposing Dramatic Tone by 2 or 3 stops in a lot of pics but it is not a rule. A wider selection including my new other favourite topic of branded litter is going to go in a Flickr Album - will add the link when it hs finished uploading. More very soon. PS By the way, I think my favourite, despite going on about man made angles, is actually the Jonathan Livingstone Pollack homage by the seagulls! I might even add that to Instagram for a bit of variety.
