hey guys!!! to see caratblr so alive made us so happy! thankyou for everyone putting in efforts and making beautiful content for seventeen’s anniversary <3 

we noticed that if we post the prompts on the same day as new day of the challenge begins, it gives less time for CCs to create content for the first prompt and also causes a little rush. 

so after discussing with the admins, instead of posting prompts a day before or on the same day, we decided to compile all prompts into one post and promote and hype is as much as we can! 

so we present you, ALL THEMES in one go! 

you can still make content for the themes of the days that have passed, there’s no time limit, you can do either of the prompts, both the prompts or combine them!

minkwan prompt: misleading flirting

high school! AU. Since their common friends came together to form a giant group of 13 people, Mingyu and Seungkwan have been hanging out a lot. Mingyu is touchy and flirty and Seungkwan is enjoying every moment, he's convinced it's only a matter of time before they come clean to each other and finally start dating.

That is, until one day when he gathers with some of the guys of the bunch that he comes in a conversation about Mingyu finally confessing his crush on Jeonghan to the boy. Soonyoung, Jihoon and Wonwoo are teasing him about it when Seungkwan arrives and he just can't believe how naive he was. All this time he mistoke Mingyu's playfullness with flirting and he's just SO embarrassed he might just die there and now. He tries to play it cool when Mingyu spots him and puts his arm over his shoulder but Seungkwan it's too upset to take it so he gets away from him from then on.

It's not like he's mad at Mingyu, well... not entirely, since it was him who took it the wrong way all this time and he should have known better but that doesn't mean he's not upset because he really liked Mingyu and now he has to accept the fact that it was all in his head and they (probably) won't ever date, ever.

He's still really bothered and embarrassed about it and surprisingly enough, from all the guys in the bunch the one that end ups comforting him is Jun. Talk about wild. But Seungkwan is done assuming things and hey if his cheesy and greedy hyung is here to hug him and tell him everything's going to be ok then who is him to say no?  

Jun helps to ease Seungkwan's mind, telling him it's not his fault for taking it the way he did it's just that Mingyu is a clumsy guy and sometimes he doesn't see what he's doing to others. He even offers him to spend his free time with him instead of Mingyu until he feels ready to face the other and while Seungkwan is sad he accepts since he just can't look at Mingyu without wanting to die for the time being.

And of course Mingyu takes notice, how can he not when he and Seungkwan have been spending pretty much all their free time during classes and even after them for a really long time? But now it seems like all his time is occupied by Jun and he feels pretty bothered by it. Weren't they best friends or something like that? Sure they never really said it out loud but that kind of thing it's there with no need to point out. They still hang out all together as a group everyday but it's just not the same.

Mingyu loses a lot of chances to confess to Jeonghan while Seungkwan is trying to plan a life where Mingyu and him are only friends, Mingyu ends up dating Jeonghan and he has to pretend he didn't think it was going to play out different from then on so they all can get back to being friends and get their friends group dynamic back to normal all with the help of his new found best friend Jun who is way to pleased for some reason.

After thinking about it Seungkwan kinda decides that if he wants to get his friendship with Mingyu back he has to be honest since Mingyu didn't actually do anything wrong and deserves an explanation to Seungkwan's sudden abandonment.

So he does just that. He comes up to Mingyu one fine day before they get back to class after lunch and tells him the truth: all this time he thought Mingyu liked him and was flirting with him so he kinda assumed they both liked each other and would date eventually and then it turned out Mingyu actually liked Jeonghan instead of him and he was the only one thinking there was something more between them and that hit him hard so he had to take time away from Mingyu until he was ready to be friends with him again. He apologizes for being selfish but he would be thankful it they could get back to how they were before.

Mingyu's shocked and somehow relieved and happy for the sudden confession. He feels flustered and can't stop smiling even if he feels awkward and inadaquate, his fingers brushing at his sides trying to come up with a response until he's interrumpted by Seungkwan who wants to clarify this isn't a confession and he's not trying to get an answer from him, he's just telling him the truth to come clean but it doesn't have any other goal than just that since he knows and respects Mingyu's feelings towards Jeonghan and assures him he doesn't have to feel responsable about anything and they'll be just friends if Mingyu takes him back, even telling him he has his full support with Jeonghan.

He stands there, not knowing how to feel but Seungkwan's staring right at him expectantly waiting for his answer, Mingyu just nods slowly not being able of doing much more and Seungkwan gives him a bright smile before hugging him and inviting him to the movies along with Chan, Jun, Minghao, Hansol and himself after classes and makes a quick run to his classroom leaving Mingyu alone with his confusing feelings and no idea of what to do next.

minkwan prompt: eternal rivals

rivals! AU, just a normal day after yet another one challenge between Mingyu and Seungkwan between classes, this time ending with a victory for Seungkwan the boy and his friends leave the place cheering while Mingyu stays there with Seungcheol at his side who is not really bothered by the issue but more about the way Mingyu just can't stop getting in this silly games against a guy younger than him for no reason.

Mingyu gets flustered and with a shy laugh he finally confesses that it's not what he thinks. In fact, it's not what anyone including Seungkwan himself thinks. It was all a misunderstanding that went on for too long and now it's too late to back off. He didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to be seen as dumb or helpless (too late for that) since what Mingyu has been trying to do from the beginning was to IMPRESS Seungkwan.

Seungcheol doesn't really get it nor can he start to believe it until Mingyu elaborates and tells him that actually, Mingyu liked Seungkwan from the first time they met. And after pinning way too hard for a short time (because that's just how Mingyu is) he really wanted to woo Seungkwan BUT. All his attempts ended up in Seungkwan taking it as an offense or a challenge to his own habilities until they ended up in this senseless rivalry.

All of Mingyu efforts had gone to waste because no matter the outcome, it's always his lose. If he wins, Seungkwan gets annoyed at him and leaves right away with a promise for revenge and it doesn't help that Mingyu teases him way to much and end ups coming off as a jerk. If he loses he ends up looking bad in front of Seungkwan and his friends and fails to impress Seungkwan once again. He just can't catch a break, and stupidly enough, after all this time he has only come to like Seungkwan even more because he likes the way Seungkwan pouts and crinkles his little button nose when he realizes he's going to lose, he likes the way he gets so passionate when they compete about something and even those smug smiles he gives at his direction when Mingyu realizes he's going to lose. He can't even start to describe how he feels when Seungkwan smiles after beating him.

It's just a huge giant mess.

And even if Seungcheol is one of his closest friends and he really, really feels bad about the younger one he just can't stop laughing because. Really now. All this time Mingyu has been trying to show Seungkwan how good a boyfriend he would be while the other only believes he's trying to outdo him? What kind of rom-com is Mingyu living? He has to tell everyone else like, right now.

But it's not all bad, now that his friends know they can hopefully come up with a way to save Mingyu of living this crappy one sided rom-com for the rest of their high school years (or even longer) and make Seungkwan look at Mingyu in a whole new light.
