Today I learned in the listening practice, the dumbest mistakes Patrick Bet-David made in his first year as an entrepreneur.

1) I Almost Quit. 2) Trying to Become CEO Too Early. 3) Trying to Take Advice from Too Many People. 4) Not Knowing How to Ask for Advice. 5) Forcing Vs. Influencing. 6) Living the Dream Too Early. 7) Trying to Sell Too Many Products as an Entrepreneur. 8) Thinking I Knew it All. 9) Partying Too Hard. 10) Acting Like a Boss Instead of an Employee. 11) Not Having a Schedule. 12) Not Knowing the Value of a Business Plan.

However, Patrick, said that there is more mistakes, that he does but this 12 points are the most importants.

Unemployment rate at record low despite stall in private sector hiring

In this video "The guard" blog, talk about the three quarters of UK working-age population employed with latest increase mainly due to rise in self-employment. Unemployment dropped to its lowest rate since 2005 in April. The unemployment rate fell to 5% from 5.1% in March, while the number of jobs in the economy jumped 55,000 from March to set a record high employment rate of 74.2%. Once the jobless rate falls below 5%, the Bank believes wage pressures start to build.

The employment rate, which tracks the proportion of people aged 16 to 64 who were in work, was 74.2%, the joint highest since comparable records began in 1971, the ONS said. Unemployment fell to 1.67 million, 20,000 fewer than the figure for the three months to January 2016, and 148,000 fewer than the same period last year.

In conclusion the last month, the number of people employed increased by 44,000 to 31.58 million, while total pay including bonuses edged up by 2%.

Conglomerates: parent company, conglomerate, combine, subsidiaries, adversites, dispose of, non-core assets, core activity, diverstments, restucturing and diversities into.

What I learned --> In this unit I learned about the sucess and failures that contains vocabulary of cash mountains and surplaces, debt and debt problems, turnarounds and bailouts, and bankruptcy.

Cash mountains and surplaces:distributed, earnings, relained earnings, cash pile, cash mountain, and acqusition.

Debt and debt problems: repayment services, burden, debt, crisis, rescheduling, restructuring, and debult.

Turnarounds and bailouts: sick, arling, troubled, turning around, turnaround of, callapse, bail out, and bailout.

Bankruptcy: filing for bankruptcy, protection, creditors, go into administration, administrator, goes into liquidation, receivers, wound up, and bankrupt.
