No puppy...I cant give you belly rubs right now, they hit the second tower.
I know I usually post funny or sensual things for everyone to enjoy but for today I am going to be serious. As a New Yorker September 11th hit a little closer to home than others. I knew a lot of people who were directly affected by the tragic events of that day in NYC. I used to work on Wall Street and frequently used the World Trade Center subway stop. I remember every detail of that day and I never want to forget it. I will forever honor those who were lost in ALL the attacks of that day.
Probably for the most, the 11th of September stands for something else, but for me it marks the date of the Chilean coup d'état in 1973.
Today, it has been 52 years since United States backed fascist military junta overthrew the democratically elected socialist president Salvador Allende. This forced Chile and it's people into an authoritarian military dictatorship, which lasted almost for 17 years.
And it wasn't the only time when USA had stepped in, helping fascist dictatorships take over other countries. The pain that they have caused to millions of people is insanity. All the civilians murdered, torured and hunted for their political status was and still is too much. And the amount of people who went missing during the fascist regime, that haven't still been found, is devastating.
These people never got compensation. USA's blind fear of communism and need to intervene with other countries' resources and politics has caused so much pain all over the world, and continues to do so, as we speak. Be sure to never forget Chile.

The existence of 7/11 and 9/11 implies the existence of 8/11.
