Patriotic outfits are sort of my theme from now till after the 4th of July
Ahhhh she's so cute! This is a Design a Friend doll by Chad Valley. Her name is Willow, that's the name the company gave her but I like it. She's such a lovely doll, I like her even more than I thought I would and the clothes are wonderful quality. Hhhh I just love her so much she's so special, and she can wear any 18" doll clothes (American Girl, Our Generation, B Friends etc). I bought her for myself for my birthday. I wanted something similar to an American Girl but wasn't sold on the face sculpt and saw these and they're perfect.

So, like, I’m writing reviews again I guess. Recently got the 18″ Harley Quinn doll at the TRU clearance, and of course I immediately had to undress her and take nude pics. ;)
Today Helena and I went to the Denver American Girl store after I got off of work. Helena got her ears pierced, her nails painted, and her hair styled! She got the sweetheart braid, and lavender nail polish. We decided to get the classic silver earrings as well. It's been a fun day!
We've found that there are Steampunk clothing patterns for American Girl dolls (though the corset was too small for our Target knock off, I can't imagine the real thing is any thinner). So Mixie asked me to create a top hat for her doll. Not a tiny top hat, compared to the doll... A proper topper. And I have long had a favorite top hat...
After working at Wal-Mart for almost two years now I finally broke down and bought a My Life As doll. This was the 1st time one of these dolls has caught my eye other than the boys. This is the My Life As Camp Counselor doll. Of course I redressed her. The outfit is the My Life As Pink Maxi dress & sweater. I will do an update on this post later to let you know what I think of her.
