MdTA Cops by Elliott Plack Via Flickr: Officers gearing up for Barrack Obama's motorcade
I’ve been living in Georgia now for 8 years but had yet to visit Savannah, the state’s largest coastal city. So I decided to take a short vacation drive to the coast. The r & r was much needed and I had a great time exploring the city and the coastal islands. I started out shopping, of course, at the Tanger Outlets just outside of the city. I explored the downtown riverfront and shopping district next. Finding parking is an experience in itself! Next time I will definitely find a hotel in town. I got a chance to drive out to Tybee Island, but instead of hitting the jam packed beach, I decided to check out Fort Pulaski; the Union Army built fort from the civil war. I did finally get to the beach, but chose Jekyll Island which was a little less busy thanks to a short thunderstorm. I had an amazing trip and I can’t wait for my next adventure! Check out some of my favorite images below.

I started off photographing nature and landscapes when I was still in high school, I think the outdoors will always be my first love. I’ve bee so busy building a portrait business that I haven’t been getting out as much. But last week I picked up a new lens, the Nikon 18-200VR, so of course I had to brave the EXTREME heat and take it for a spin. I started off traveling to Coheelee Creek Covered Bridge then drove around for a while exploring some dams and even venturing into east Alabama since I was close to the border anyway. Despite the heat, I had a great time exploring and reconnecting with nature, check out some of my favorite shots below and let me know what you think! Thanks
