The game: share 1 to 3 moments that inflicted emotional damage!
I love angst. I love to watch a wave of suffering build and build and then finally crash. I love when characters are experiencing grief and loss. So for this prompt, I picked three moments that made me, eater of agonies, go "I don't know if I can take this."
180 Degrees - the dinner scene

I could have picked several scenes from this show, but this is the one that came to mind first. Wang cries out to be seen by these two vital adults in his life, but neither of them can look at him without seeing the reflection of their deepest tragedies and shames, so they both leave the table. Everyone is in pain here, including me.
Gelboys - Bua's transformation
This gave me one of the most visceral "get me out of here" feelings I've ever had watching BL. Watching Bua dye his hair and put in contacts in answer to Baabin's cruel words, watching him look at himself and know that a) he hates this and b) it is not going to get him the love he desperately wants... absolutely miserable. I'm still in awe that the show managed to turn it around and lift me back up in a way that felt earned, in less than 30 minutes.
Not Me - Sean/Black fight

This one falls into the "fun angst" category for a lot of people, and good for them, but to me it was so horrifying I had to ask a friend how much longer the deception goes on in order to keep watching. The fact that Sean thinks this is the same person he's been intimate with, that he's not only being attacked physically but his whole sense of reality is coming into question... feels bad. Do not like.
I have not been keeping track of who's already done this, so if you'd like to, consider yourself tagged!
Hey @justtheclippy , you should definitely turn 180 degrees
couple memes from Amanda's twitter lol (first one idk, second one credit @ therainsshelter)
180 degrees phase difference
Cillian: What do you mean ‘I looked tense’?
you know I think it would have been incredibly cathartic for Inn and Wang to have fucked. They are both trying to proxy-love Siam. Not to say that Wang wants to do his own father. He is looking for a way to connect to this father through Inn, trying to love him by seeing what Inn loved in him. And Inn is just looking at a younger version of Siam, right in front of him and going - Holy Fuck.
Also I don't think they would have ended up together one way or the other. It would have been just the one time. It cannot be a relationship as much as both of them fucking Siam out of their systems. And it would feel like they were both betraying Siam and Mol in very distinct but similar ways.
I also think Wang would top. Inn literally doesn't want to be here. He is an inactive participant in his own life and in everything that is him and around him and that makes me think he won't be topping. And if they did have a sex scene it would easily be on the edge of dub-con, missing it by a degree or two, perhaps oscillating between con and dub. But that's the genre you sign up for in Gothic Romances.
